Job Profile:

The Warehouse Operations Administrator is an important part of the Operations team, focusing on the responsibilities of shipping, receiving, inventory and promoting online sales in a warehouse environment, while reducing operational costs and improving process functions.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Shipping
    • Package materials
    • Create shipping labels
    • Prepare shipping documents
    • Consolidate package requirements
  • Receiving
    • Unpack and separate shipment
    • Physically check in items against packing list
    • Examine packages for damages
  • Inventory
    • Raw material counts
    • Serial # tracking
  • Online sales productivity and performance analysis
    • Gaining online business through promotional advertising
    • Updating current listings to improve visibility
    • Help organize and gain consignment orders
    • Consignment promos for online sales
  • Bill of Materials pulls for jobs
  • Promote unsold inventory sales
  • Forecast and listing analysis
    • General knowledge on what and how to react and respond to forecasted data
  • Out of Stock control
  • General maintenance of raw/pre-built electrical materials
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with customers/vendors
  • Reduce costs from an operational standpoint
    • Improve process functions to increase performance
    • Moving old inventory

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledgeable with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • 2-year Business Administration or tech degree or equivalent education/work experience in warehouse environment
  • Online sales experience, preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving system functions
  • Process oriented, organized, adaptable to change
  • Communication skills
  • Willingness to learn new systems
  • Self-motivated, team player with aptitude for personal professional growth
  • Available for 40 hours/week plus overtime when required
  • General knowledge of business process management
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Familiar with ERP system use and functions
  • Some knowledge of components and manufacturers
